morning sickness

morning sickness has officially kicked in, i felt it around 5 and a half weeks, and hit full force right at 6 weeks :( it really sucks constantly feeling sick, makes it hard to really enjoy anything. im dreading tomorrow, usually i'd love thanksgiving, but knowing i'll me in no mood to eat and then when i do it'll just come right back up. not my type of fun, but i'll try any make the best of it. as for baby i believe everything is going fine, as my symptoms are becoming stronger. little bean is about 6 weeks and 2 das old now. and already causing all this sickness already, hopefully it'll slow down by the time we'll be moving to florida.

Growing like crazy, baby is starting to sprout eyes, ears, nose, cheeks and chin. Those little hands and feet- still webbed like paddles- might wiggle by week's end, the heart is beating (almost twice as fast as yours!), and blood is starting to circulate.

er er

last night i'd had a little bit of a scare, after going to the bathroom i noticed i'd had a little bit of brown spotting, and over the past couple days i've been getting these awkward type twinges and pinches on my left side. i was so worried that i might be having an ectopic pregnancy, i worked myself up so much, i could sleep eat or get through my day without thinking about it. today i ended up going to the ER at TMC (tucson medical center), we sat in the waiting room for about two hours, and then they called us back, we went into the room and they asked me for a urine sample, after i got back from doing that, they took my blood, while they were doing that i started getting really hot flashy and nausious and ended up throwing up in one of there fancy little blue puke buckets, ew. anyways they took all kinds of blood, as i was waiting for the results, they rolled me down the hospital and took me to the ultrasound room. as i was waiting for the technician to get everything ready i way praying and praying and had my fingers crossed the whole time. and to my surprise everything was PERFECT :) i got to see my little bean tiny tiny but so beautiful. most beautiful little dot i've ever seen. and it measured perfectly 5 weeks and 6 days. i was so happy and relieved. i wasent able to get a picture, so thats a bummer but im so happy i saw it and everything was fine. after we were done they wheeled me back into my room, i found out my blood type is A+ and that my beta for i think around 28dpo is 21,380 which she said was perfect. they did a pap test just to make sure everything was fine down there and it was A ok, no bleeding and the cervix was tightly closed. i'm glad this day did a total 360 and hopefully i wont get another scare like this again.

finally :) my test line is darker then the control line on my doller store test, i had a darker test line then control line on my answer at 15dpo and finally at cycle day 24 a darker test line then control line on my $$ test!! i think i might stop peeing on sticks now.

well i got my first docters appointment schedualed today, and its not until december 17th, which will put me around 9 weeks pregnant. i'm so hopeful that the time will fly by and when i finally do have my appointment everything will look and measure perfectly :). im guessing im only going to go to this docter one time, since around the end of december were going to be making our way down to florida. so the countdown begins...

hello little apple seed

today officially makes 5 weeks pregnant. i'm very excited, but very nervous at the same time. this is the week i lost my little bean last time. i'd started cramping and having backaches around this time. and started spotting around 5 weeks and 3 days. so i'll probably try to be taking it a little extra easy this week. it's so amazing that my little bean will already have a beating heart by the end of this week. it is absolutely amazing. i'll be calling my obgyn on monday to try and get my first appointment.



as for symptoms still nothing too bad, my nipples have been feeling alot more sensative, and if i lay on them for awhile they start to feel like someone put icy hot on them. i've also been really moody and been snapping at really anyone and everyone. i feel super bad for nevin :( ..




Your embryo (looking kind of like a tadpole) is starting to form major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive). Baby's presence in your uterus triggers production of hCG (the hormone detected by pregnancy tests)... which triggers production of other hormones like estrogen and progesterone... which trigger all those great symptoms you've probably been noticing!

well today my nurse here on the base called me and let me know that she had sent a referal, and sent it out on high risk since i had my miscarriage back in july, and also since i've had seizures in the past, which pushes me closer to the top of the list. i went online today just to check the status of my referal, not thinking anything had gone through yet, and BAM all of my appointments have been approved and i'll be able to print out a copy and go ahead any make my first appointment on monday. she also let me know that on monday i could go to the pharmacy here on base and pick up my prenatal RX that she put in for me. so far everything is working out, and im hoping it keeps going as smoothly as it's been.



im not sure what a few of the service descriptions mean, but i'll hopfully be finding that out this coming week when i go for my first appointment :)

july 20th 2008

baby news :)

well im expecting once again and as happy as can be. ofcourse having another miscarriage is stressing me out quite a bit but im trying to think positive and try not to stress out too much. i am about 4 weeks 4 days today and i've already had tons of positive pregnancy test, i started testing on 8dpo and thats when i got my first faint faint positive and tested about every day after that, and today got my blood test results back and they are also positive. as for symptoms, not too many yet, i have this random pinching twinging on the left side of my lower abdomin and some shooting pains going through my brests, some random nausious spells but nothing too horrible. my fiance was the one who read out the first test and he was there with me to read out all the rest so he knows, and he absolutly cant wait to see our little baby bug. i have also told my mother and she is very happy for us, but no one else as of yet, and i plan on holding off for a couple more weeks just to make sure things go smoothly. im not sure when my first obgyn appointment is going to be since i need my base docter to refur me to a clinic offbase, i sure hope its soon though. i'll be posting on here weekly probably, just with the progression of my pregnancy :) praying its a sticky baby bean.

In week 4, now safe in your womb, the ball of cells (blastocyst) splits in two, becoming the embryo and the placenta. The amniotic sac and fluid are forming around baby, and will act as a cushion for the next eight months.
